In Australia we are very fortunate that Medicare provides support through a Chronic Disease Management Plan, otherwise known as a Care Plan. For clients with a chronic condition such as Osteoporosis or Diabetes your GP can provide a referral entitling you to a rebate on your sessions. It is important to note there is a gap fee, we are not able to bulk bill our service.

Within a care plan you have five sessions per calendar year that can be used across all allied health providers. For example for some with Diabetes you may have split the sessions between a Dietitian and an Exercise Physiologist. You and your GP will have decided where to allocate your five rebateable sessions. You can also reallocate sessions to another provider. If for example you have moved and want to change from your former Exercise Physiologist or other allied health provider to Simply Stronger you can make this request with your GP. 

When seeing an Exercise Physiologist at Simply Stronger we are able to process your rebate onsite. After taking full payment we will send the details directly to Medicare for your to receive your rebate directly from Medicare.
